Our Test-Teach-Train approach to your development includes regular assessment and strikes a balance based on the time of year, sport(s) and position(s) you are playing, physical development, skill level, performance potential and individual goals. At the core is the investment you make in your future and getting recognized for your performance and capabilities.
The assessment process begins with a pre-test prior to the start of the training series. The pre-test allows Athletic Republic to measure key movement skills, like linear speed, lateral agility and quickness; power output, including peak power and strength between arms and legs or symmetry; stability, a key measure in playing without injury; and efficiency with your running or skating stride.
The results from the pre-test are evaluated along with your physical development, sport and position training goals to develop an individualized training program designed to deliver results.
At the conclusion of your training sessions, you complete the same set of assessments in order to track your development, measure your progress and establish areas for future improvement. You may also wish to compare your performance results against your peers in our athlete database to see how you rank by age, gender, geography and sport.
